    FAQs

Waterproof waders with attached boots are commonly called bootfoot waders. The boots are built into the legs, making the boots and wader body one connected piece of gear.
Bootfoot waders include attached boots. Stockingfoot waders end in soft, stocking-like feet and require separate wading boots. The names describe the foot construction, not the material or insulation.
Chest waders extend up the torso and typically have shoulder straps. Hip waders cover each leg to the upper thigh and usually attach to a belt. Both styles can have built-in boots.
Follow the care label first. Rinse off mud and field debris, paying attention to the boot soles. Use a mild cleaner only if the care instructions allow it, then let the inside and outside dry fully before storage.
Start with clean, fully dry waders. Store them in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and heat. Follow the manufacturer's directions for hanging or laying them flat, and avoid tight folds or stacking heavy gear on top.
